那天去Ann Arbor吃台灣菜,就在Asian Legend 老地方餐館的旁邊看到一個新開叫『IORIO'S GELATERIA』的義式冰淇淋店,即便肚子已經吃的非常的飽,還是被吸過去了!

口味眾多也很有趣味性,價錢也很公道,當下決定一人一杯自己挑自己喀意的口味來吃!

而且Nico一直對這種具有當地精神的小店特別有感情,所以用行動來支持(買來吃?!)是一定要的。

話說IORIO'S是從推車起家,白話一點就是還沒有資本開店時,在Michigan當地的Events(比如說Farmer's Market, Art Fair之類的),都可以看到他們的身影,等到老闆存夠資本的之後,在開起這間實體店面。

老闆叫Mary本身也是U of M(密西根大學)的學生,回到母校附近開了這間『IORIO'S GELATERIA』真的是讓Ann Arbor都甜了起來。


服務人員也是都超親切的,很溫馨的一間店。

口味那麼多,要選那樣呢?別擔心...店員說口味任我選,要幾樣有幾樣,反正就是把你選的杯子塞滿就是了。

我選了Grande(Large)的杯子,口味的部份,選了四種:蔓越莓提拉米蘇(左下方),巧克力布朗尼(右下方),草莓(左上方),跟奶油開心果(右上方)。都很好吃,尤其是蔓越莓提拉米蘇跟奶油開心果。

Wing則是選了比較清爽的口味,芒果跟蔓越莓。這兩個口味很耐吃,酸酸甜甜的不會膩。

才新開張生意就已經嚇嚇叫了,我想以後我會常光顧囉!

結帳的時候,『IORIO'S GELATERIA』很摩登的用Ipad2充當刷卡機,不過這在美國的Small business or Farmer's Markets已經挺普及的囉!

『IORIO'S GELATERIA』的口味繁多,時常更新,所以有興趣的朋友可以上官網看看有沒有比較有興趣的口味:

8/4的口味有Red Raspberry, Dark Chocolate Hazelnut, Chocolate Covered Espresso Bean, Strawberry, Raspberry Tiramisu, Mexican Vanilla, Butter Pecan, Creme De Menthe with Brownies, Dolce De Leche, Belgian Chocolate, Hazelnut Fig, Kalua Tiramisu, Tart Cherry, Black Cherry, Vanilla with Blueberries, Boysenberry, Blueberry, Jasmin Tea, Acai, Lemon Zest, & Lemon Basil.

8/9的口味則有bacio (chocolate hazelnut), mango senza fat & sugar, turkish roast coffee, pina/pineapple, lampone/raspberry, coconut, banana fudge praline, blueberry senza latte, nocciola/hazelnut, spumoni, and more!

有空去看看,不會失望的!(怕甜的,記得帶杯水。)

History

Established in 2004

What started as a pushcart business selling italian ice at local events has turned into full retail location in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Mary, a sophomore in High School at the time, decided after many a summer trip to the east coast, that italian ice needed to be brought to the midwest. This pushcart business evolved into a season market location, and eventually a year round stand with gelato and italian ice. Upon Mary's graduation from U of M in 2010, she knew Ann Arbor could use some sweetness. She brought her younger brother Nick on board (U of M '13) and together they brought this dream to reality in July 2011.
